Size is not read the same way for every construction. A clasped rigid bracelet
is chosen by wrist circumference. An open bangle is chosen by size, according to
the wrist. A closed bangle, with no opening, must first pass over the hand.
A chain or a cord, finally, is measured by its total length.
For our clasped rigid bracelets, the size is your wrist circumference, in centimetres.
A 16 cm wrist wears a size 16: the necessary ease is already built into
the piece. Nothing to add, nothing to calculate.
Clasped rigid bracelet
Measure your wrist just below the bone, without tightening the tape. The bracelet’s
size corresponds directly to this measurement: this is the fit we recommend.
The size above gives a looser fit, where the model’s geometry allows it.
Between two measurements, choose the larger.
Open rigid bangle
Measure your wrist just below the bone as well. An open bangle is chosen by size,
from XS to XL, according to your wrist circumference. Its opening lets you
slip it over the side of the wrist; it is not meant to be spread or tightened
with each wear.
| Size | Wrist circumference |
| XS | 13 to 14.4 cm |
| S | 14.4 to 15.8 cm |
| M | 15.8 to 17.2 cm |
| L | 17.2 to 18.6 cm |
| XL | 18.6 to 20 cm |
For a looser fit, choose the size above. Outside these ranges, our workshops make your bangle to measure.
Closed rigid bangle, with no opening
Measuring the wrist is not enough. Bring the thumb towards the little finger,
fingers together, then measure around the hand at its widest point. This circumference
determines the minimum inner diameter that lets the bangle slip on. The size is
therefore chosen by inner diameter, not by the wrist measurement alone.
Chain, supple bracelet or cord
The size corresponds to the total length of the closed bracelet:
your wrist circumference, plus the ease of the fit you want.
Close to the wrist
Wrist + 0.5 cm
The bracelet stays in place and turns little.
Natural fit
Wrist + 1 cm
The most versatile ease: the bracelet follows movement without sliding down onto the hand.
Loose fit
Wrist + 1.5 to 2 cm
The bracelet is mobile and slides towards the hand. The charm of chains and cords.
An adjustable cord suits you when your wrist circumference falls within its adjustment range.
- Cut out the tape and slit the black slot.
- For a bracelet with an opening, measure the wrist just below the bone, without compressing the skin.
- For a closed bangle, measure instead the widest part of the hand, thumb folded in.
- Read the value in centimetres, then apply the rule that matches the construction of the piece.
Between two sizes, choose the larger. For a particular measurement,
our workshops can adjust or make the piece to your measurements.
