THE BRAND & ITS VALUES
Origine Paris is a fine jewellery house founded on the values of ethics, transparency and responsible creation. We design jewellery crafted from recycled 18-carat gold and laboratory-grown diamonds, made by hand by exceptional artisans. Our ambition is to offer jewellery of lasting beauty, where every piece tells a story without compromise on human or environmental impact.
Because beauty should have no hidden cost. Traditional mining is one of the most destructive industries on the planet. By choosing recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, we offer materials that are chemically and physically identical, without the ecological damage or ethical concerns so often associated with extraction.
Origine Paris has no permanent boutique open to the public: we welcome you by appointment,
in Paris at 21 rue de la Paix, by video call or by telephone. Our collections are presented
online at origineparis.com, with photos, descriptions and prices, and can now be ordered
there directly. The appointment remains at the heart of the maison for everything that
deserves one: a bespoke project, choosing a size, hesitating between several pieces. We
also host invitation-only events to unveil our new creations: subscribe to our newsletter
to be informed first.
Our jewels are crafted by carefully selected artisans, chosen for their exceptional skills and commitment to quality. Depending on the collection and the project, pieces are made in Valenza, Italy, a world capital of fine jewellery, and in Lyon, France, a historic centre of French goldsmithing. Every piece is the fruit of outstanding artisanal expertise.
MATERIALS & ETHICS
A laboratory-grown diamond is a real diamond, created in a controlled environment that precisely replicates the conditions found in nature. It is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond: the same pure carbon composition, the same brilliance, the same hardness. The only difference is its origin. It is not a simulant or a cubic zirconia: it is a genuine diamond in every sense of the word.
Recycled gold comes from antique jewellery, industrial waste or electronic components, which are melted down and refined back to their original purity. Once refined, it is completely identical to newly mined gold: the same carat, the same quality, the same brilliance. The difference lies entirely in the process: recycling gold avoids extraction, which causes significant environmental damage, deforestation, water pollution, CO₂ emissions, and is often associated with poor working conditions.
Yes. From 0.5 carats onwards, every diamond used by Origine Paris is certified by the same world-renowned independent gemological institutes that certify mined diamonds, recognised globally for the rigour of their expertise. Each stone is assessed according to the same criteria: the four Cs (carat, colour, clarity, cut). A certificate accompanies every relevant piece.
Our creations are currently centred on laboratory-grown diamonds, which are at the heart of
our ethical approach. If your project involves other stones, write to us or raise it during
an appointment: it is exactly the kind of request a bespoke design study is made to explore
with care.
At Origine Paris, our exacting standards go beyond aesthetics: we master every detail that gives a diamond its value.
We offer only very high quality lab-grown diamonds, with a minimum grade of D/VS:
D for colour: no tint, a pure, cool white.
VS for clarity: inclusions only very slightly visible under strong magnification, and almost imperceptible to the naked eye.
For every diamond, we apply the four criteria known as the 4Cs:
Carat: the weight of the stone, which influences the diamond's perceived size.
Colour: from colourless (D) to noticeable yellow tones.
Clarity: the presence or absence of internal inclusions and surface blemishes.
Cut: the precision of the cutting, which determines the quality of the sparkle and brilliance.
By setting D/VS as our minimum standard, we guarantee every client a quality of sparkle, transparency and brilliance befitting the image of a fine jewellery house.
ORDERING & APPOINTMENTS
Two paths are open to you. Online: choose your piece and its size on origineparis.com and
pay by card or bank transfer; as every creation is made to order, production begins as soon
as payment is confirmed and we keep you informed until delivery. By appointment: write to
us at contact@origineparis.com for a meeting in Paris, by video call or by telephone; it is
the ideal path for a bespoke project or for guidance in your choice.
Our online Size Guide walks you through it: a printable ring sizer, measuring methods and a
conversion table for sizes 42 to 58. You can also have your finger measured by a local
jeweller, or write to us for advice; and if you prefer, the question is easily settled
during an appointment.
Yes. Pieces from our collections can be ordered and paid for directly on origineparis.com,
by card (secure payment with 3D Secure authentication) or by bank transfer. Each piece is
then made to order and shipped insured, delivered against signature. Only bespoke creations
follow a different path: they begin with a bespoke design study and are finalised with us
during an appointment.
Yes. We reserve the right to decline any order, in particular if it involves reproducing a design belonging to another house, if it is technically unfeasible, or if it conflicts with our values. The client is informed promptly and without any fees.
BESPOKE & COLLECTIONS
Yes. Our entire collection can be browsed on origineparis.com: every creation is presented
with its photos, detailed description and price, in recycled 18-carat gold set with
certified laboratory-grown diamonds. Collection pieces can now be ordered there directly.
And to try pieces on or be advised, we welcome you by appointment at 21 rue de la Paix, in
Paris.
Our collections (Éclora, Daisy, Daisy Light, Avalanche, Essentiels, Classique,
Signature...) are designs created by Origine Paris, available in defined versions: they can
be discovered and ordered directly online, in the size and gold colour of your choice. A
bespoke piece is a creation that does not yet exist: a design drawn for you, a profound
personalisation, a particular stone. It begins with a bespoke design study and takes shape
in dialogue with the maison, through to the quotation and production.
Absolutely, it is the very heart of the maison. Two approaches, depending on your project:
our collections include engagement rings and wedding bands ready to order online, such as
the Classique and Signature lines, in recycled 18-carat gold set with certified
laboratory-grown diamonds. And for a unique piece, we create your ring bespoke: it all
begins with a design study, then a dialogue with the maison to draw what you wish to
express.
The price depends on the materials chosen, the complexity of the design and the
craftsmanship required: there is no fixed rate. Your project begins with the bespoke design
study, offered at 500 euros: an appointment with the maison, a creative direction, two
rounds of revisions and a detailed quotation, delivered before any production begins. If
you order your piece within twelve months, the 500 euros are deducted in full from your
invoice.
It is the first step of every unique creation: an appointment with the maison, a creative
direction drawn for you, two rounds of revisions and a detailed quotation, for 500 euros.
If you order your piece within twelve months, the 500 euros are deducted in full from your
invoice. Sketches and proposals remain the property of Origine Paris. You can order your
study directly online, or write to us first: this first exchange is complimentary and
without obligation.
No, and this is a firm position. Origine Paris categorically refuses to reproduce or imitate the creations of other houses. We deeply respect the work of fellow designers. If a piece inspires you, we would be delighted to create something original that captures the spirit you are looking for, without copying anyone.
No. All drawings, sketches and models created by Origine Paris remain our intellectual property, even within a bespoke project. When you purchase a piece, you acquire ownership of the physical jewel, not of the design. This also means that Origine Paris may draw inspiration from its creations to offer similar pieces to other clients.
No. Drawings and mock-ups produced by Origine Paris may not under any circumstances be entrusted to a third party for reproduction. This would constitute a violation of our intellectual property rights, and we reserve the right to pursue legal action in the event of any such breach.
PRICING & PAYMENT
Every piece is a precious object, and its price reflects the materials used (gold weight,
diamond quality and carat), the complexity of the making and the craftsmanship required.
For collection pieces, prices are displayed online, all taxes included. For a bespoke
creation, a detailed quotation is delivered at the end of your design study and confirmed
in writing before any production begins.
Online, you can pay by card, secured with 3D Secure authentication, or by bank transfer: in
that case our bank details are sent to you by e-mail as soon as your order is confirmed,
and your piece is reserved for seven days pending payment. For orders concluded during an
appointment, the terms are confirmed with your order. No production begins before payment
is received.
For an online order, payment is made in full at the time of ordering: this is what launches
the making of your piece. For an order concluded during an appointment, notably bespoke, a
deposit of 30% of the total launches production, and the remaining 70% is settled before
the piece is handed over.
It depends on the type of order. For a non-personalised collection piece ordered at a
distance, you benefit from a 14-day withdrawal right from the day of receipt: all sums paid
are then refunded in full. For a bespoke or personalised piece, made especially for you,
sums paid are non-refundable once production has begun; likewise, the design study remains
due once the creative work has started.
For an online order, the price displayed at the time of your order is final. For projects
on quotation, our quotes are valid for fifteen calendar days from issue, given the
volatility of precious metal and stone prices; beyond that, the price may be revised, and
you are informed of any adjustment before any final confirmation.
Yes. Card payments are processed by a certified payment provider with strong 3D Secure
authentication: your banking details are encrypted and never stored by Origine Paris. Bank
transfer offers the same peace of mind: you pay from your own bank, using the details we
send you by e-mail.
For non-personalised collection pieces ordered at a distance, notably online, you have
fourteen calendar days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, by writing to
contact@origineparis.com. Bespoke creations and personalised pieces, made especially for
you, are excluded by law. The full procedure is on our Shipping and Returns page.
TIMELINES & DELIVERY
As every piece is made to order, allow around 6 to 8 weeks for collection pieces, from
payment confirmation, then a few days in transit: 1 to 2 working days in France, 3 to 5
across Europe, 5 to 10 internationally. For bespoke pieces, the timeline is set case by
case according to the project's complexity and communicated to you in writing.
Some orders may require additional time, particularly when sourcing specific diamonds or stones proves more complex. In such cases, we inform you as soon as possible and agree on a revised timeline together. Our timelines are indicative rather than contractually binding, but we pride ourselves on keeping you informed at every step.
Yes. We keep you informed throughout the making and gladly share key milestones with you.
As soon as your piece ships, you receive a confirmation e-mail with the carrier's tracking
number, through to delivery against signature.
Delivery is complimentary to every destination we serve. Your parcel travels insured for
its value, in neutral, discreet packaging, and is delivered against signature. A tracking
e-mail is sent as soon as your piece ships. Full details are on our Shipping and Returns
page.
If the packaging is visibly damaged on receipt, refuse the parcel or issue explicit reservations on the delivery note. Contact us within 48 hours at contact@origineparis.com with photos of both the packaging and the piece; we will handle the process with the carrier.
Yes. We deliver to France, the European Union and a selection of international
destinations. The destinations we serve appear directly at checkout, when you select your
delivery country. Delivery is complimentary, every parcel travels insured for its value and
is delivered against signature. Outside the European Union, any customs duties and import
taxes remain at your charge. If your destination is not offered, write to us: we consider
every request.
CARE & WARRANTIES
Yes, within certain technical limits depending on the model. We recommend entrusting this operation directly to us: resizing carried out by an unauthorised third party results in loss of your warranties. Contact us to assess feasibility.
