Origine Paris attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy describes the data we process, why, for how long, and the rights you have.

1. Data controller

2. Data collected and purposes

a. Contact form and appointment requests

Data: name, e-mail address, subject and content of your message. Purpose: responding to your request and, where relevant, arranging an appointment. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest. Retention: twelve (12) months after our last exchange.

b. Newsletter

Data: e-mail address (and name if provided). Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link. Retention: three (3) years after your last interaction with our communications.

c. Customer relationship management

Data: identity, contact details, history of our exchanges, preferences and information relating to your project. Purpose: managing the relationship and projects. Retention: for the duration of our relationship, then three (3) years after our last contact.

d. Orders and purchases (online or by appointment)

When you place an order, on origineparis.com or following an appointment, we process: identity, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, telephone number, order details, and the data required for invoicing, delivery and tracking (carrier tracking number). Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations (in particular accounting obligations). Retention: duration of the contractual relationship then five (5) years; accounting records (invoices) are kept for ten (10) years as required by law.

e. Online payment

Online payments are processed by the site’s secure payment provider (the Shopify platform’s payment module). Your card data is neither collected nor stored by Origine Paris, which never has access to it. Only transaction-related information (amount, status, last four digits of the card) may be shared with us, for order management and fraud prevention.

3. Cookies

Cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site (session, security, technical preferences, basket and checkout) are essential and do not require your consent. Audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics) are only set with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Maximum cookie lifetime: thirteen (13) months.

4. Recipients and transfers

Your data is processed by the following technical providers on behalf of Origine Paris: Shopify (site hosting, order management and payment), specialised carriers (order delivery), e-mail service providers, and Google Analytics (audience measurement, subject to consent). It is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes. Some providers may process data outside the European Union; such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

5. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability. You may exercise them by writing to contact@origineparis.com; we respond at the latest within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
